3.5 stars would be more accurate.I thought that the plot for All In A Day's Work was original. At least, I don't recall having read a short story in this genre based on this premise before. (18 year old Jane needs to supplement her allowance so what do you suppose she decides to do? Sorry, I can't say more b/c I try to avoid spoilers) It is indeed taboo erotic and it is rather provocative. However, the scene in which Jane is talking on the phone to her best friend during a crucial moment felt all wrong. I just didn't feel that it was realistic or appropriate. (Elizabeth, what were you thinking.) For me, it threw off the sensual rhythm of the scene. I also think that the short story is somewhat overpriced. As a result, the story receives a 3.5 stars rather than 4.
